WEDDINGS: LOWES-SEILER

LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Jennifer Marie Lowes and Brent Daniel Seiler were married June 17, 2000, at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold. Father Bill Huggins performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Mary C. Jansen of Leopold. Vocalists were Amy Beussink, Kristi Schlosser, Crystal Backfisch, Lainey Engelen, and Melissa Thele. Readers were Stan Seiler of Leopold, godfather of the groom, and Joe Lowes of Cape Girardeau, godfather of the bride. The offertory procession was led by Elaine and Marty Winshel of Apple Creek, Mo., godmother and uncle of the bride.

Parents of the couple are Michael and Kathleen Lowes of Cuba, Mo., and Glennon and Jackie Seiler of Marble Hill, Mo.

Matron of honor was Wendy Randell of Cuba. Bridesmaids were Sarah Deck of Cape Girardeau; Tonya Hughes of St. Louis, Mo.; Heather Leazenby of Leopold, sister of the groom; and Emma Seiler of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.

Flowergirl was Chancey Elfrink, daughter of Todd Elfrink of Leopold. Ringbearers were Justice Brown, son of Rusty and Stephanie Brown of Cape Girardeau, and Bryce Besand, son of Keith and Cindy Besand of Perryville and cousin of the bride.

Best man was Bart Vandeven of Leopold. Groomsmen were Doug Deck of Cape Girardeau; Todd Elfrink of Leopold; and Michael and Erik Lowes, both of Cuba and brothers of the bride. Ushers were Martin Arnzen of Cape Girardeau and Jon Vandeven of Leopold.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Leopold. Servers were Eric and Derek Halter of Cape Girardeau; Tricia Deck of Leopold; and Michelle Master of St. Louis. Guest book attendant was Tina Ivy of Jackson.

The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner June 16 at Woodland Steakhouse in Marble Hill.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Cuba High School and is a 1997 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a teacher at Meadow Heights School in Patton, Mo.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Leopold High School and attended Linn State Tech. He is an apprentice electrician with MSI Electric in Jackson.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple reside in Jackson.
