JACKSON, Mo. -- St. Paul Lutheran Church was the setting March 11, 2000, for the wedding of Kendra Dorthea Kramer and Benjamin Kennith Steffens. The Rev. Robert Henrichs performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Lois Fehrmann, and flutist was Anna Bonney of Jackson. Soloists were Bill Bonney of Jackson, and Sally Steffens, mother of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Ken Kramer of Jackson and Barb Kramer of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Dale and Helen Steffens of Jackson and Sally Steffens of Champaign, Ill.
Karen Scholl of Frohna, Mo., cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristy Johnson of Jackson; Tracy Schmidt of St. Louis and Stephanie Steffens of Altenburg, cousins of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Heather Steffens of Benton, Mo., niece of the groom.
Best man was Greg Steffens of Jackson, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Nathan Steffens of Benton, brother of the groom; Wade Kramer of Jackson, brother of the bride; and Matthew Cripps of St. Charles, Mo. Junior groomsman was Austin Kramer of Jackson, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Justin Roth of Jackson, cousin of the groom; Joshua Scholl of St. Louis, Joe and Mark Scholl of Frohna, cousins of the bride.
Flower girl was Jena Brotherton, daughter of Kyle and Linda Brotherton of Jackson. Ringbearer was Collin Kramer, son of Steve and Tina Kramer of Jackson and cousin of the bride.
Candlelighters were Joshua Scholl and Justin Roth.
Guest book attendant was Susie Steffens, sister of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Enchanted Gardens. Servers were Amy LaRue of Benton, sister-in-law of the groom; Tammy and Jennifer Steffens of St. Charles, cousins of the groom.
The bride's father hosted the rehearsal dinner March 10 at Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
The couple resides in Jackson.
