NEW HAMBURG -- St. Lawrence Catholic Church was the setting Sept. 4, 1999, for the wedding of Tonya Dawn Klipfel and Bradley Gene Hazen. The Rev. Normand Varone performed the double ring ceremony.
Lector was Amy Kern, cousin of the bride. Organist was Cheryl Kern, aunt of the bride, and soloist was Kari Lape.
Parents of the couple are Floyd and Carol Klipfel of New Hamburg and Virgil and Janice Hazen of Arlington, Texas.
Stacey Johnson was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Denitra Kern and DeAnna Klipfel, cousins of the bride; Kara Heuring, Michelle Baldwin and Brandy Dollgener. Junior bridesmaids were Amy and Stephanie Kern, cousins of the bride.
The groom chose his brother, Craig Hazen, as best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Kern, cousin of the bride; Scott Wear and Keith Hazen, brothers of the groom; Chad Dollgener and Tommy Kaferle.
Flower girls were Jessica Kern, cousin of the bride, and Brittany Hazen, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Zakery Johnson, nephew of the bride.
Guest book attendants were Georgianna Bennett and Barbara Kern, aunts of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at St. Lawrence Parish Center.
Mrs. Hazen is a 1993 graduate of Kelly High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Capital One in Fort Worth, Texas.
The groom is a 1988 graduate of Sam Houston High School. He is employed at Walgreen's in Cedar Hill, Texas.
The couple resides in Mansfield, Texas.
