WEDDINGS: JONES-HAMILTON

Marla Ruth Jones and Stephen Mark Hamilton were married May 27, 2000, at Grace United Methodist Church. Dr. Larry Gallamore and the Rev. Roy Jones, grandfather of the bride, performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Laura Bollinger and harpist was Emily Bertrand, both of Cape Girardeau.

Parents of the couple are Roy and Janice Jones and Tom and Martha Hamilton, all of Cape Girardeau.

Stacy Stricklin of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kirsten Asher of Jackson, Mo., Sonja Soriano of San Francisco, Calif., Meghan Fanning of Atlanta, Ga., Michelle Jones of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the bride, and Samantha Savage of Huttersfield, England.

The groom chose John Peukert of Cape Girardeau as best man. Groomsmen were Rory Shackles of Cape Girardeau, Joe Bullock and Bryan Unterreiner of Dallas, Texas, Ryan LeGrand and Chris Jones, brother of the bride, both of Cape Girardeau, and Ashley Burchfield of Springfield, Mo. Ushers were T.J. Owens and Brandon Hamilton, nephew of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau, and Marco Athie of St. Louis.

Candlelighters were Brandon Hamilton and T.J. Owens.

Flower girl was Kali Whitworth of Scott City, Mo. Ringbearer was Dustin Sample of Cape Girardeau, nephew of the groom.

Sally and Becky Iten attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at their home May 26.

Mrs. Hamilton is a graduate of Central High School and received a bachelor's degree from Samford University. She is an international account executive with Miller Freeman Inc.

The groom is a graduate of Central High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri. He is a territory manager with Network Associates.

After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple is residing in Dallas.
