JACKSON -- Jean Ann Jennings and Daniel Joe Smith were married June 26, 1999, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. Msgr. Edward Eftink performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Geri Beussink of Jackson. Laura Ray of Jackson was vocalist.

Richard and Sandy Lyke of Jackson are parents of the bride. The groom's parents are Robert and Betty Smith of Millersville.

Melissa K. James of Jackson, was maid of honor. Junior maid of honor was Shelby L. Smith of Millersville, daughter of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tonya M. Williams of Benton; Tabatha A. Morgan of Cape Girardeau; Beth Smith of Millersville, sister-in-law of the groom; and Sherri Stairs of Millersville, sister of the groom.

Dave Seabaugh of Millersville served as best man. Groomsmen were Brad Rooney of Dupo, Ill., cousin of the groom; Robert W. Smith of Millersville, brother of the groom; Jeff Wille of St. Louis; and Boyd Sievers of Jackson. Ushers were Steve Limbaugh of Pocahontas and Sievers.

Flower girl was Peyton Ivie, daughter of Tonya M. Williams of Benton. Garrett W. Rodgers was ringbearer. He is the son of Gary A. and Leslie Rodgers of Olive Branch, Ill., and cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters were Brittney J. Smith of Millersville, daughter of the bride; and Rebecca Smith, daughter of Robert and Beth Smith of Millersville, and niece of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Jackson Elks Lodge. Servers were Wilma Seabaugh and Jackie Miller, both of Millersville; and Velma Polen of Jackson, aunt of the groom. Guestbook attendant was Amanda Seabaugh, daughter of Mark and Bobbie Seabaugh of Jackson.

The bride and groom hosted an outdoor barbecue at the home of the groom's parents on June 25.

Mrs. Smith is a 1986 graduate of Perryville High School and a 1995 graduate of Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort, S.C., with a degree in health science/nursing. She is employed as a LPN for Dr. Zenon M. Duda, D.P.M., in Cape Girardeau.

Smith is a 1986 graduate of Jackson High School. He is a sheet metalworker pre-apprentice for Associated Sheet Metal in Jackson.

After a wedding trip to Cancun and Cozumel, Mexico, the couple resides in Millersville.
