Amy C. Hook and Ryan R. Rassin were married June 10, 2000, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Chicago. The Rev. Thomas Healy performed the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Brandon Hahs of Cape Girardeau.

Parents of the couple are Joseph and Mary Hook of Highland, Ill., and Ronald and Mary Lou Rassin of Deerfield, Ill.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Hook of Highland, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Gretchen Nordman, Kristen McCune, Jenny Egby, Ali Lundgren, Amy Frigo and Meredith Ogburn.

Scott Rassin of Chicago served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Brad Schmitt, Andy Stavros, Thom Morton, Ed Coursey, Marc Franz and Brian Anast. Ushers were Scott Baby, Brody Browe, Chris Coughlan and Tom McNeela.

Lauren Dammrich attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Jamie and Ellen Dammrich.

Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Sheraton North Shore Hotel in Northbrook.

The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 9 at Maggiano's in Chicago.

Mrs. Rassin is a 1992 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in community health from the University of Illinois-Champaign in 1996. She is a pharmaceutical sales consultant with Glaxco-Smith Kline in Chicago.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Ill. He received a degree in accounting from the University of Illinois-Champaign in 1995. He is an assistant vice president with Fleet Capital in Chicago.

The couple resides in Chicago.
