JACKSON -- Erica Jean Hoffman and Dean A. Eggerding were married July 24, 1999, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood. The Rev. Vernon Gunderman performed the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Barry Bobb, and soloist was Ashley Ratcliffe.
Parents of the bride are David and Connie Hoffman of Manchester, formerly of Jackson. The groom is the son of Herb and Jackie Eggerding of St. Louis.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Heather Hoffman of St. Louis was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Becky Beumer, Rachel Roman, Ericka Grojean, Jaime Bayes, and Kristin Anderson, sister of the groom, all of St. Louis.
Best man was Ryan Luhning of St. Louis. Groomsmen were Brent Beumer and Jeff Hollingsworth of St. Louis, Jeff Wilkerson of New York City, Matt Bayes and Derick Schmidt of St. Louis. Ushers were Dave Anderson, brother-in-law of the groom, John Germain, both of St. Louis, and Nathan Hoffman of Jackson, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Melissa Leimer, daughter of Ted and Kathy Leimer of Jackson and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Alex Hunter, son of Richard and Laura Hunter of Minnetonka, Minn., and cousin of the groom.
Lyn Barry of St. Louis and Christi Becherer of Belleville, Ill., attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 23 at Sunset Country Club in St. Louis, with 75 guests attending.
Mrs. Eggerding received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood from Fontbonne College in 1999. She is a pre-school teacher at Tri-Point Community Unit School District in Piper City, Ill.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from St. Louis University in 1996. He is a salesman with John Henry Foster Co. in Bloomington, Ill.
After a wedding trip to Beaver Creek, Colo., the couple resides in Bloomington.
