Grace United Methodist Church in Salem, Ill., was the setting May 26, 2001, for the wedding of Amanda Harpster and Ben Eller. The Rev. Tim Ozment performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Natalie Stein of Jackson, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Dane Harpster of St. Peter, Ill. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Eller of Salem.
Maid of honor was Leslie Richmond. Bridesmaids were Carrie Eller, sister of the groom; Evie Krawiecki; and Heidi Hunter, cousin of the bride.
Rob Power served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Wood and Brian Gray. Ushers were Mitchell Harpster, brother of the bride; Todd Malone, Chris Walden and Pat Smith.
Junior bride was Riley Holst, and flower girls were Sydney and Shelby Holst.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at The Warehouse in Salem.
Mrs. Eller is a 1996 graduate of South Central Community High School. She received a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000, and is pursuing a master's degree in industrial management. She is employed at the School of Polytechnic Studies at Southeast University.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Salem Community High School. He received a bachelor's degree in architectural studies at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2000. He is employed at Image Architects.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
