Nancy K. Hagy and James L. Drews were married May 20, 2000, at Bell City Assembly of God Church in Bell City. Curtis True performed the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Joyce Borgfield of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Donald Howard of Cape Girardeau, and the late Betty Howard. Drews is the son of the late Pearl Drews of Bernie.

Maid of honor was Rita Green of Sikeston, and matron of honor was Charisse Parrish of Cape Girardeau, daughter of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Howard of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride, and JoAnne Hagy of Dexter, sister-in-law of the bride.

Mike Drews of Dexter served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were James and John Hagy of Dexter, brothers-in-law of the bride; and Randy Greene of Sikeston.

Candlelighters were Amber Drews, daughter of the groom, and Tyler Greene, both of Sikeston.

Flower girls were Rachel Drews of Sikeston, daughter of the groom; Brittany Smith of Cape Girardeau, granddaughter of the bride; and Latasha Hagy of Dexter, niece of the bride.

Guest book attendants were Carman True and Holly True of Sikeston.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Servers were Heather True, Blair Greene and Brooke Greene of Sikeston.

Mrs. Drews attended Central High School.

The groom attended Bernie High School. He is employed at Thompson Culvert in Sikeston.

The couple resides in Sikeston.
