WEDDINGS: GRAHAM-WESSEL

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Chaffee General Baptist Church was the setting March 10, 2001, for the wedding of Jill Marie Graham and Steven Michael Wessel. The Rev. Joe Payne performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Darlene Dumey, aunt of the bride, and soloist was Jessica Smith, both of Chaffee.

Parents of the couple are Steve and Cathy Graham and Michael and Linda Wessel, all of Chaffee.

Ashley Graham of Chaffee was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Wessel of Mountain Grove, Mo., sister of the groom, and Ashton Lee of Chaffee, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Mike Sadler of Chaffee. Groomsmen were Brad Wessel of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom, and Jon Riley of St. Louis. Ushers were Todd Wessel of Jackson, cousin of the groom; Tyler Graham of Chaffee, brother of the bride; and Michael Lee of Chaffee, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Emma and Brent Wessel, children of Chris and Rhonda Wessel of Chaffee and cousins of the groom.

Candlelighter was Tyler Graham.

Adria Meyr and Jessica Pobst of Chaffee attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception, dinner and dance was held at Chaffee American Legion Hall. Servers were Darlene Dumey, Robin Graham, Donna Corn, Diane Bond, Carla Lee and Sandy Lee, aunts of the bride; Sue Wessel and Rhonda Wessel, aunts of the groom.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner March 9 at the church.

Mrs. Wessel is a 1998 graduate of Chaffee High School, and attended the University of Kentucky.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of Chaffee High School, and 1998 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is a crop production salesman with Effingham Equity in Altamont, Ill.

The couple resides in Effingham, Ill.
