Cassandra Dawn Glenn and James Robert Worley were united in marriage June 9, 2001, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan performed the double ring ceremony. Readers were Dustin Farrar of Gordonville, Mo., and Kirk Lohmann of Cape Girardeau, cousins of the bride.
Organist and pianist was Lenny Kuper, soloist was Alan Bruns, and violinists were Michelle Hopen and Michelle Suhr, all of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the bride are Doug and Marlene Glenn of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Darrel and Ruth Worley of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Angela Scherer of St. Louis, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amber Hopkins of Augusta, Ga., Lisa Ebaugh of Cape Girardeau, Wendy Patrick of Perryville, Mo., Karen Robertson of Cape Girardeau, and Andrea Craig of Jackson, Mo.
Heath Hopkins of Burlington, Vt., was best man. Groomsmen were Chris Jenkerson of Cape Girardeau; John Abernathy of St. Peters, Mo.; Ryan and Brandon Glenn, brothers of the bride; and Brett Abernathy, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Darren Scherer of St. Louis and Travis Farrar of Gordonville, cousins of the bride.
Candlelighters were Danae and Hayle Davis, children of Gary and Jan Farrar of Gordonville and cousins of the bride.
Flower girl was Rachel Farrar and ringbearer was Charles Davis, children of Gary and Jan Farrar and cousins of the bride.
Guest book attendants were Ashley Koettker and Jessica Sprouse of Cape Girardeau, cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at St. Vincent's Parish Center.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 8 at Port Cape.
Mrs. Worley is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in health management and health promotion from Southeast Missouri State University in August. She is employed at Southeast University with Community 2000.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Central High School. He is majoring in computer electronics at Southeast University. He is employed at St. Francis Medical Center.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
