Susan Michelle Ford and David Alan Gatena were married May 26, 2000, at Hanover Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jeffrey Sippy performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Keith Koenig of Jackson, Mo. Soloists were Donnie Key of Dubuque, Iowa, and Mike Baldwin of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Carol and Glen Wilkinson of Cape Girardeau, and Robert and Marty Ford of Whitewater, Mo. The groom is the son of Sandy and Merle Meyer and Robert and Pat Gatena of Dubuque.

Matron of honor was Laurie Essner of Kelso, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Lori Woodney of Cape Girardeau.

Tim Holshouser of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsman was Chris Gatena of Holly Hill, Fla., brother of the groom. Ushers were Aaron and Ryan Gatena, sons of the groom.

Flower girls were Brittany and Madeline Essner, nieces of the bride.

Guest book attendants were Ronnie Ford, brother of the bride, and Shelly Baker, both of Cape Girardeau.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Route 25 Hall in Jackson. Servers were Linda Harris and Janice Simpher, aunts of the bride.

Mrs. Gatena is a 1994 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is owner of Ford Photography, and co-owner of Tel-Tech 2000 Inc..

The groom is a graduate of Dubuque High School. He is co-owner of Tel-Tech 2000 Inc.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
