JACKSON, Mo. -- Christina Ann Fields and Laird Sloan Abbott exchanged vows April 21, 2001, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Msgr. Edward Eftink performed the double ring ceremony. Accompanist was Catherine Martin; handbell music was by Steve and Theresa Baugh, cousins of the bride; harpist was Emily Bertrand; and cantor/vocalist was Beth Baugh, cousin of the bride, all of Jackson.
Leabert and Ann Fields of Jackson are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Clarence and Pam Abbott of Linwood, N.J.
Maid of honor was Nicole Martin of St. Louis, cousin of the bride. Matron of honor was Tamra Tuttleton of Whitewater, Mo. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Sollors of Fairborn, Ohio, and Katrina Abbott of Northfield, N.J., sister of the groom.
Ken Buck of Absecon, N.J., was best man. Groomsmen were Jim Brownhill of Gallaway Township, N.J., Andy Dobis of Prescott, Ariz., and Shawn Sanders of Shreveport, La. Ushers were Don Tuttleton of Whitewater, Mo., and Major Mike Johnson of Puyallup, Wash.
Flower girls were Olivia and Caroline Langley, daughters of Terry and Lisa Langley of Springfield, Mo.
Patty Baugh, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge. Coordinators were Jenny Zeller, Debbie McCullough and Theresa Baugh, all of Jackson and cousins of the bride.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 20 at Port Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Abbott received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University. She received a master of science degree in counseling from Southwest Missouri State University. She is a social worker with Catholic Community Services in Kent, Wash.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He received a master of science degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a lead flight test engineer at AWACS Joint Test Force with the U.S. Air Force in Seattle, Wash.
The couple resides in Renton, Wash.
