Maple United Methodist Church was the setting May 6, 2000, for the wedding of Jessica Lynn Ervin and Jonathan Mark Allred. The Rev. John Gregory performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Marge Main of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Wilton L. and Beverly A. Ervin of Cape Girardeau and Larry and Cathy Allred of East Prairie, Mo.
Jill Ehlers of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meagan and Abigail Ervin, sisters of the bride, and Terri Moore, all of Cape Girardeau.
Best man was Michael Martin of Ohio. Groomsmen were Darrion Caldwell of Sikeston, Mo., Jeremy Mitchell and Scott Sutton of East Prairie. Ushers were Nicholas Ervin of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, and Kyle Trentham of Marble Hill, Mo.
Flower girls were Haleigh and Ashton Allred of East Prairie, nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was Zachary McRill, son of Glenn and Sara McRill of Germany.
Candlelighters were Elizabeth Ervin, cousin of the bride, and Dawn Leible, both of Cape Girardeau.
Following the ceremony, the reception, dinner and dance was held at the VFW Hall. Servers were Elizabeth Ervin and Dawn Leible.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 5 at Great Wall Chinese Restaurant.
Mrs. Allred is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. She is an assistant manager at Goody's Family Clothing.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of East Prairie High School. He is a machine operator at M&W Packaging.
The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
