Cpl. Michelle Jane Edwards and Cpl. Jonathon Charles Andrus were married May 27, 2000, in Huntsville, Ala. Chaplain Barry W. Presley performed the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Kent and Jane Stodghill of Cape Girardeau and David and Carlita Edwards of Gurley, Ala. The groom is the son of Charles and Mary Andrus of Gainesville, Ga.
Matron of honor was Sunnie Potter of Gurley. Bridesmaids were Amanda Hasting of Gurley; Ericka Andrus of Hastings, Mich., sister of the groom; and Evelyn Bradford of Fairfax, Va.
Matt McDonald of Hastings served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Dave Andrus of Indianapolis, Ind., brother of the groom; Jon Robinson of Hastings; and Marc Adler of Queens, N.Y. Ushers were Daniel and Michael Edwards of Memphis, Tenn., brothers of the bride.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Lauren and Tyler Edwards of Gurley, sister and brother of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Radisson Hotel in Huntsville. Servers were Amy Johnson and Kitty Call.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 26 at the Radisson Hotel.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. She is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Hastings High School in Hastings. He is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton.
The couple is residing in Oceanside, Calif.
