La Croix United Methodist Church was the setting Dec. 29, 2000, for the wedding of Megan Nicole Ebaugh and Jon Mike Thrower. The Rev. Ron Watts performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist and soloist was Chris Nall of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Paul and Jeanne Ebaugh and Charles and Judith Thrower, all of Cape Girardeau.
Kara Ebaugh of Burbank, Calif., was her sister's maid of honor.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsman was Steve Ruppel of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Dave Irwin and T.J. Fulton of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girls and ringbearer were Mary Elizabeth, Laura Katherine and Jacob Walker "Jack" Goodman. They are the children of Jeff and Teresa Goodman of Cordova, Tenn., and cousins of the bride.
Heather White of Cape Girardeau attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Patty Zander of Cape Girardeau.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 28 at In The Wine Cellar.
Mrs. Thrower is pursuing a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design at Southeast Missouri State University.
The groom is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in English writing at Southeast University.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
