SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Eisleben Lutheran Church was the setting Feb. 14, 2001, for the wedding of Barbara L. Curnell and Samuel A.G. Herndon IV. The Rev. Robert Azinger performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Nancy Hey of Cape Girardeau.

Douglas and Lilla Curnell of Scott City are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Samuel A.G. Herndon III and Phyllis Herndon of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Maid of honor was Alaina Smith of Jackson, Mo., daughter of the bride.

S. Andrew G. Herndon V of Jackson served his father as best man.

Candlelighter was Kyla Smith of Jackson, daughter of the bride.

Mrs. Herndon is a graduate of Scott City High School. She is an insurance agent.

The groom is a graduate of Stuttgart High School in Stuttgart, Germany. He is a line maintenance technician at Procter & Gamble.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple is residing in Jackson.
