WHITEWATER, Mo. -- St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo., was the setting Sept. 23, 2000, for the wedding of Heather Dawn Crader and Andrew Jason Elfrink. The Rev. William Huggins performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Mary Jansen of Leopold, and soloist was Shonda Burnett of Jackson, Mo.

The bride is the daughter of Lender "Frog" Crader and Patricia Crader of Whitewater. The groom is the son of William "Bill" Elfrink and Donna Elfrink of Leopold.

Maid of honor was Amy Swain of Jackson and matron of honor was Beth Eeftink of Leopold. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Murray of Jennings, Mo., Angela McDaniel of Delta, Mo., Alaina Bowers of Whitewater, Barbra Elfrink of Leopold, sister-in-law of the groom; Tori St.Cin of Oran, Mo., niece of the bride; and Kimberly St.Cin of Oran, sister of the bride.

Brian Eeftink of Leopold served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Joe Fluchel of Glen Allen, Mo., Stuart Beussink of Sedgewickville, Mo., Derek Halter and Eric Halter of Cape Girardeau, Derek Jansen, Tommy Schreckenberg, and Kenny Elfrink, brother of the groom, all of Leopold. Ushers were Josh Johnson of Marble Hill, Mo., Andy Landewee of Leopold, T.L. Nussbaum of Whitewater, and Bobby St.Cin of Oran, brother-in-law of the bride.

Flower girl was Kaycee Livingston, daughter of Eston and Tracy Livingston of Whitewater and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Trenton St.Cin, son of Bobby and Kimberly St.Cin and nephew of the bride.

Miniature bride was Sydney Eeftink, daughter of Brian and Beth Eeftink. Miniature groom was Trenton Elfrink, son of Kenny and Barbra Elfrink and nephew of the groom.

Candlelighters were Cynthia Bueter and Chelsea McCormick, cousins of the groom. Cynthia is the daughter of Norbert and Lorraine Bueter of House Springs, Mo. Chelsea is the daughter of Mike and Becky Ruehling of Old Appleton, Mo.

Altar servers were A.J. Horn, son of Tom and Diane Horn of Whitewater, and Craig Thiele, son of Robert and Georgia Thiele of Leopold.

Reader was Rick Bohn of Scott City, Mo., cousin of the bride. Giftbearers were Cyril and Inez Elfrink of Chaffee, uncle and aunt and godparents of the groom, and Carolyn Pickens of Jackson, aunt of the bride.

Penny McCormick of Jackson, aunt of the groom, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were April Beussink of Sedgewickville, Heidi DeBrock and Tara Broshuis of Leopold, Diane Horn and Donna Heise of Whitewater, Kristi Schlosser of Oran, Amy Beussink and Crystal Backfisch of Kelso, Mo.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 22 at their home.

Mrs. Elfrink is a 1995 graduate of Delta High School, received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999, and is pursuing a master of arts degree in guidance and counseling at the university. She is a customer service representative in the Student Financial Services Office at Southeast University.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Leopold High School. He is employed at Gateway Industrial Power in Scott City.

The couple resides in Leopold.
