JACKSON -- Shauna Jean Cook and Jamie Austin Criddle were married July 24, 1999, at First Baptist Church. Dr. Brian Anderson performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Lisa Drum, and vocalists were Lisa Barrett and Julia Schmid.
Ron and Sandra Cook of Whitewater are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Danny and Donna Criddle of Jackson.
Sherry Cook of Whitewater was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ronna Cook of Whitewater, sister of the bride; Andrea King and Heidi Griswold of Jackson; Julie Needham of Ozark, cousin of the bride; and Beth Essner of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.
The groom chose Scott Vangennip of Jackson as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Lewis of Spanish Fork, Utah, brother-in-law of the groom; Chad Ludwig, Dave McMullin and Jason Weber, all of Jackson; and Travis Criddle of Provo, Utah, brother of the groom.
Flower girls were Alyssa, Megan and Erin Lewis, daughters of Matthew and Kim Lewis and nieces of the groom.
Candlelighters were Jaime Williams and Lesley Dalton of Jackson.
Attending the guest book were Kim Lewis, sister of the groom, and Bonnie Criddle, sister-in-law of the groom. Program attendants were Jordan Needham III of Ozark, cousin of the bride, and Kyle Essner of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Shirley Bond, Teresa Cook, Joyce Needham and Cynthia Matthews, all aunts of the bride.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 23 at the KC Hall.
Mrs. Criddle is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in December 1999. She is a teaching aide at Delta Elementary School and is assistant girls basketball coach at Delta High School.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed at Scott Beussink Construction.
The couple resides in Jackson.
