JACKSON, Mo. -- Jennifer Ann Cole and Charles Ray McClard were married Sept. 23, 2000, at Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Paul J. Short performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Diann Daume and soloists were Dale and Mary Rauh, all of Cape Girardeau.

Robert and Donna Cole of Sparta, Ill., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Wade and Judy Robert of Kelso, Mo., and Gary and Shirley McClard of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Julie Steele of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Julie Cole of St. Charles, Mo., and Sheba Bracke of Shrewsbury, Mo.

Michael Lough of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Gary McClard Jr. of Charleston, Mo., and Jerry Golden of Jackson. Ushers were Matthew Cole of Sparta and Rick Steele of Cape Girardeau.

Flower girl was Shianne McClard of Jackson.

Angie Schilling of Chicago attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau. Servers were Lori Todd of St. Charles and Becky Cole of Florissant, Mo.

Mrs. McClard received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by Forest Pharmaceuticals.

The groom served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is employed at Procter & Gamble.

The couple resides in Jackson.
