JACKSON -- Carrie Ann Clippard and John Raymond Perez exchanged vows July 17, 1999, at First Baptist Church. Craig F. Stout performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Jean Schweain, and soloists were Beth Roethemeyer and Adrian True, all of Jackson.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Kathleen Clippard and Jose and June Perez, all of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Mendy Ball of Kearney. Bridesmaids were Kristi Deneke and Heather Fisher of Jackson; Sarah Livesay and Lori LeGrand of Mattoon, Ill., both cousins of the bride.
Timothy Miller of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Smee of Jackson; Matthew Hiller of Atlanta, Ga.; Joseph and Jason Perez of Jackson, brothers of the groom. Ushers were Christopher Foster of Midland, Mich., Jared Summerville of Chicago, and Chuck Reed of Jackson.
Carinsa Perez attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Drury Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 16 at Port Cape.
Mrs. Perez received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood/elementary education from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1998. She is a second grade teacher at Fort Zumwalt School District.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1997. He is a materials engineer with General Motors in Wentzville.
The couple resides in O'Fallon.
