WEDDINGS: BUCHHEIT-VAN MATRE

Kimberly Kay Buchheit and Mark Spencer Van Matre were married Aug. 12, 2000, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Short performed the private double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Jerry L. and Mary Schlegel and Dorothy L. Schlegel, all of Jackson, Mo. Van Matre is the son of Lynn and Donna Van Matre of Cape Girardeau and Sue Van Matre of Columbia, Ill.

Maid of honor was Stevie Ann Buchheit, daughter of the bride.

Mrs. Van Matre is a graduate of Jackson High School. She is self-employed.

The groom is a graduate of Hazelwood High School in Hazelwood, Mo. He is president/general manager of Van Matre Buick.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
