WEDDINGS: BROWN-TEAGUE

JACKSON, Mo. -- Rachelle Jo Brown and Jesse William "Jay" Teague III were married July 15, 2000, at Calvary United Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Ronnie Brown of Jackson, father of the bride, and the Rev. Gary Teague of Newburg, Mo., uncle of the groom, performed the double ring ceremony.

Vocalists were Chae Sheerin of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; Derick Teague of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom; Rick Teague of Ellettsville, Ind., the Rev. Gary and Rocky Teague of Newburg, all uncles of the groom. A pre-recorded song was performed by the bridal attendants.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Ronnie Brown of Jackson. The groom is the son of Jesse Teague of Newburg and Peggy Teague of Jackson.

Tara Braswell of Jackson, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Reever of Imperial, Mo.; Laura Strand, Jamie Teague, sister of the groom, both of Jackson; Jill Jackson of Hohenwald, Tenn., cousin of the bride; Julia Newberry of Cape Girardeau; and Shawnda Strand of Marble Hill, Mo.

The groom chose Nathan Brown of Jackson, brother of the bride, as best man. Groomsmen were the Rev. Don Sheerin of Poplar Bluff; Brian McCoy of Jackson; Jesse Teague, father of the groom; Mark Collins of Jackson, uncle of the bride; Mike Schumer of Cape Girardeau; and Aaron Teague of Ellettsville, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Michael Braswell of Jackson; Jeremy Thacker of Sikeston, Mo.; Travis Brown, cousin of the bride, and Rocky Strand, both of Jackson.

Candlelighters were Katie Fink of Jackson; Jessica Newberry of Cape Girardeau; Becky Brown of Jackson and Erica Jackson of Hohenwald, cousins of the bride.

Miniature bride and groom were Lacey Harrod and Marcus Collins, cousins of the bride. Lacey is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Harrod of Springfield, Ill. Marcus is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Collins.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Allison Gribler and Luke Teague, cousins of the groom. Allison is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Gribler of Jackson. Luke is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Gary Teague.

Brooke Thacker of Sikeston attended the guest book. Shelly Weber and Tara Jones of Jackson handed out programs.

Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Drury Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 14 at the church fellowship center.

Mrs. Teague is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School, and 2000 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a disability determinations counselor with state of Missouri in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School. He is manager at West Park Motors in Cape Girardeau.

The couple resides in Jackson.
