EAST PRAIRIE -- Misty Dawn Brown and Bryan Jeffry Montgomery were married Sept. 25, 1999, in an outdoor setting at the home of the bride's parents. Martin Lucas performed the double ring ceremony. Vocalists were Lara Robey of Jackson and Neal Boyd of Sikeston.
Parents of the bride are Ernest and Wenona Brown of East Prairie. The groom is the son of Bryan Montgomery and Jeannie Montgomery of Sikeston.
Kasey Brown of East Prairie, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Jauch of Cape Girardeau, Kara Jones of East Prairie, Melissa Bode of St. Louis, Sarah O'Dell of Carbondale, Ill., Audrey Johnson of East Prairie, cousin of the bride; Abby and Wendy Montgomery of Sikeston, sisters of the groom.
Junior bride was Maggie McTigue, daughter of Monty and Carlotta McTigue of East Prairie and cousin of the bride.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were John Potashnick, Andy Bailey and Jarrod Self of Sikeston, Darin Kinsolving and James Hodges of East Prairie, Tom Nunnelee and Justin Lankheit of Sikeston. Ushers were Andrew Paulus of Perryville, Jordan Masters and Hutson Peters of Sikeston.
Flower girl was Tanner Jones, daughter of Michael and Kara Jones. Ringbearer was Chandler McTigue, son of Monty and Carlotta McTigue and cousin of the bride.
Charlsie Gilliam and Mandy Johnson attended the guest book.
The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Servers were Carlotta McTigue and Charlsie Gilliam.
Mrs. Montgomery expects to receive bachelor of science degrees in nursing and general studies from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is employed in the obstetrics department at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The groom expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in public relations from Southeast University in December. He is employed at The Buckle.
The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
