JACKSON, Mo. -- Kaci Leigh Brant and Nicholas Anthony Guttilla Jr. were married Oct. 28, 2000, at Emanuel United Church of Christ. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Christy Shinn and soloist was Beth Roethemeyer, both of Jackson.
Parents of the bride are Jim and Jennie Noel of Jackson and Terry and Sue Brant of Council Groves, Kan. The groom is the son of Nicholas and Lorraine Guttilla Sr. of Memphis, Tenn.
Julie Brant of Scott City, Mo., was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Orcholski of Cordova, Tenn., and Lorraine Guttilla of Memphis, sister of the groom.
Michael Guttilla of Memphis was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Jim Noel, stepfather of the bride; and Mike Swearengen of Memphis. Ushers were Tom Powers of Scott City, uncle of the bride, and Todd Powers of Benton, Mo., cousin of the bride.
Candlelighters were Tedd and Laura Powers of Cape Girardeau, uncle and aunt of the bride.
Flower girl was Elizabeth Powers, daughter of Todd and Karen Powers and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Ethan Brant, son of Julie Brant and Justin Horn and nephew of the bride.
Jennifer Powers of Conway, Ark., aunt of the bride, attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Nicole Roth of Belleville, Ill., and Megan Powers of Conway, cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the American Legion Hall. Servers were Laurie Powers and Laura Poole of Scott City, Kay Powers of South Roxana, Ill., Valerie Powers of Sherwood, Ark., and Crystal Roth of Belleville, aunts of the bride
The rehearsal dinner was held Oct. 27 at the church.
Mrs. Guttilla is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in international business from the University of Memphis in 1997. She is a host at Grand Casino in Tunica, Miss.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of North Bergen High School in North Bergen, N.J., and attended State Tech in Memphis. He is produce manager at Albertson's Grocery in Memphis.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple resides in Memphis.
