Tracy Sue Borah and Jason Nicholas Jumps were united in marriage March 4, 2000, at Centenary United Methodist Church. Dr. Clayton Smith and the Rev. Max Borah, uncle of the bride, performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Mary Miller of Cape Girardeau, and vocalist was Robyn Hosp of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Dana Underwood of Cape Girardeau, and Pete and Janet Borah of Mt. Erie, Ill. The groom is the son of Richard and Barbara Jumps of Makanda, Ill.
Matron of honor was Sarah Godec of Phoenix, Ariz. Bridesmaids were Ginger Gibbs, Darla Drew, Stacy Price, Tracy Willcut and Tracy Meyr, all of St. Louis, and Melissa Nagy of Cape Girardeau.
Seth Jumps of Carbondale, Ill., served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Francis Barnett of Hoyleton, Ill., brother of the groom; Chad Farris, Jason Endicott and Eddie Brunken of Carbondale, Jamie Dalicandro of Chicago, and Joe Raeben of St. Louis. Ushers were Mike Salomon and Chuck Stratz of Carbondale.
Flower girl was Rachel Sprenger, daughter of Pamela Sprenger of St. Louis.
Guest book attendant was Nancy Browne of Cape Girardeau. Krista LeGrand of Cape Girardeau handed out programs.
Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner and dance was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Jeremiah's.
Mrs. Jumps is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science in business administration degree in marketing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is account manager at Nova Marketing Services in St. Louis.
The groom is a graduate of Carbondale High school. He is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in management at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. He is employed at Gerard's Restaurant in St. Louis.
After a wedding trip to Kauai, Hawaii, the couple resides in Ballwin.
