FRIEDHEIM, Mo. -- Kristal Ann Berkbigler and Robert Joseph Friese were married Sept. 30, 2000, at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, Mo. The Rev. Mark Bozada performed the double ring ceremony. Lector was Dianne Rellergert and eucharistic minister was Norma Wibbenmeyer, aunts of the bride. Offertory was by Richard Renner and Charlie Rellergert, uncles of the bride.
Organist was Michelle Roth of Jackson, Mo., and soloist was Suzette Schilling of Perryville, Mo.
Parents of the couple are Rayford and Ruth Berkbigler of Friedheim, and Darrel and Margaret Friese of Jackson.
Amanda Thomas of Nashville, Tenn., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cris Hess of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Lindsay Baer of Oak Ridge, Mo.; Sarah Strickland of Cape Girardeau; Sally Wibbenmeyer of Chicago; Nicole Cairns-Thieret of Cape Girardeau; and Becky Hoover of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.
Best man was Heath McLane of Oak Ridge. Groomsmen were Darrell Hess of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom; Dean Berry of Oak Ridge; David Parker of Jackson; Karl Aldredge of Cape Girardeau; Chuck McLane of Oak Ridge; and Nathan Cairns of Jackson. Ushers were Doug Friese of Jackson, uncle of the groom, and Steve Mueller of Farrar, Mo.
Candlelighters were Kelly Misuraca of O'Fallon, Mo., and Karen Stubblefield of St. Charles, Mo., cousins of the bride.
Flower girl was Taylor Hess, daughter of Darrell and Cris Hess and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was David Bainter, son of Sarah Strickland of Cape Girardeau.
Lori Mangels attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Holly Cottner of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom, and Angie Schupp of Perryville. Bubbles were handed out by Amy McMillan and Kristen Koenig of St. Charles.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Rhonda Price, aunt of the groom; Amy Friese, cousin of the groom; Mary McLane, Sharon Cairns, Diane Mangels and Pat Thomas.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 29 at Bavarian Haus in Jackson.
Mrs. Friese is a 1994 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She received a bachelor's degree in social work from Murray State University in Murray, Ky., in 1998. She is an information and referral assistant technology specialist at SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He is a merchandiser at Central States Coca-Cola in Jackson.
The couple resides in Jackson.
