JACKSON, Mo. -- Janet Lea Beasley and William Ray Silliman exchanged vows Sept. 16, 2000, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. Dr. Clayton Smith and Mike Heston, uncle of the bride, performed the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are David and Carolyn Beasley of Jackson, and Bill and Violet Silliman of Dexter, Mo.
Julie Tallent of Columbia, Mo., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Morgan Beasley of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the bride; Wendy Stewart of Nashville, Tenn.; Andi Maddox of Malden, Mo.; Lori Meyr of St. Louis; and Jeanna Tollison of Jackson.
Best man was Bryan Walker of Kansas City. Groomsmen were Chad Silliman of Bernie, Mo., Billy Dawson of Dexter, Heath Silliman of Memphis, Tenn., all nephews of the groom; Matt Stone of Dexter; and Chad Mace of St. Louis. Ushers were Jim Beasley of Cape Girardeau and Darrell Silliman of Memphis, brothers of the bride and groom.
Flower girl was Brandi Ketchum, daughter of David and Janice Ketchum and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Cade Silliman, son of Darrell and Polly Silliman and nephew of the groom.
Jessica Silliman, niece of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 15 at Celebrations Restaurant.
Mrs. Silliman received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She is marketing and human resources director at Union Planters Bank.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast University. He expects to receive a medical degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia in May.
The couple resides in Columbia.
