JACKSON, Mo. -- Immanuel Lutheran Church at Tilsit, Mo., was the setting Oct. 21, 2000, for the wedding of Wendy Louise Bangert and Michael Ray Aufdenberg. The Rev. Don Reder performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Wanda Aufdenberg of Jackson.
Parents of the bride are Floyd and Mildred Hoffman of New Wells, Mo. The groom is the son of Marian Aufdenberg of Jackson, and the late Earl Aufdenberg.
Matron of honor was Julie Hoffman of Jackson, sister-in-law of the bride.
Steve Aufdenberg of Jackson served his brother as best man.
Morgan Bangert, daughter of the bride; Ryan and Cody Aufdenberg, sons of the groom, preceded the couple down the aisle.
Guest book attendant was Becky Hoffman, sister-in-law of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Jackson Elks Lodge. Servers were Wanda Hoffman, sister of the bride; Sharon Crites and Ellen Kirchdoerfer, sisters of the groom.
The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner at her home, with 45 guests attending.
Mrs. Aufdenberg is a teller at Bank of America in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a self-employed farmer with E, R & M Aufdenberg Farms.
The couple resides near Jackson.
