WEDDING: STAHLY-HEFNER

Jodi Michelle Stahly and David Scott Hefner were married Oct. 28, 2000, at First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Paul Kabo Jr. performed the double ring ceremony. Danielle Hefner of Perks, Ill., sister of the groom, was vocalist. Pianist was Connie Hefner, stepmother of the groom, and organist was Dr. Gary Miller of Cape Girardeau.

Parents of the bride are Joe and Jane Stahly of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Donna Hefner of Jackson, Mo., and Scott and Connie Hefner of Perks.

Jamie Elizabeth Stahly of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Hefner of Perks, sister of the groom; Lori Lester and Trisha Miles of St. Louis; Amy Hillin and Becky Cantrell of Cape Girardeau.

Guest book attendant was Heather Fisher of Jackson.

Flower girl was Callie Hefner, daughter of Kenny and Cindy Hefner of Perks and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Sam Stahly, son of Randy and Trish Stahly of Cape Girardeau and cousin of the bride.

Candlelighter was Megan Gupton of Dallas, Texas.

Robert Hefner of Anna, Ill., served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Hefner of St. Louis, brother of the groom; Tim Vick of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; Shawn Long of St. Louis; John Earnhart of Cobden, Ill.; and Jonathan Stahly of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Ushers were Jason Cross of Chicago, John Cantrell of Cape Girardeau, Todd Vick of East Cape Girardeau, and Matt Whitten of Dallas.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 27 at Royal N'Orleans in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Hefner is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. She is a pharmaceutical sales specialist with Astra Zeneca.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Century High School in Ullin, Ill. He received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast University in 1998. He is a sales representative with Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
