Jennifer Susan Smith and James Rhett Hendrickson were married Nov. 25, 2000, at the Shrine of St. Joseph in St. Louis. The Rev. Thomas Keller performed the double ring ceremony. Vocalists were Heather Schumaker of St. Louis and Brian Johnston of DeSoto, Mo.

Parents of the bride are Hal and Carol Smith of Springfield, Mo. The groom is the son of Jim and Karen Hendrickson of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Kelly Altic of Springfield. Bridesmaids were Lisa Martin of Springfield, Kristie Besore and Cherie Massmann of St. Louis.

Ryan Hendrickson of Cape Girardeau served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Pat Koetting and Andy Chronister of Cape Girardeau, and Brian Sens of St. Louis. Ushers were John Altic, Greg Martin, Rob Besore and Kevin Massmann.

Flower girl was Hannah Galler, daughter of Brian and Liz Galler of St. Louis. Ringbearer was Gary Lane III, son of Gary and Debbie Lane of Lafayette, Ind., and cousin of the groom.

Kim Chronister of St. Louis attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Sunset Country Club in St. Louis.

The rehearsal dinner was held Nov. 24 at McGurk's Irish Pub in St. Louis.

Mrs. Hendrickson received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Southwest Missouri State University. She is an assistant vice president with Enterprise Bank in St. Louis.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in music from Southeast Missouri State University. He is an exploring executive with Greater St. Louis Area Council Boy Scouts of America.

The couple resides in St. Louis.
