JACKSON, Mo. -- Amanda Megan Puckett and Michael Alan Eakins were married May 20, 2000, at First Presbyterian Church. The Revs. Grant Gillard and Sam Roethemeyer performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Jim Rhodes, and soloists were Robert Cox and Robyn Hosp, all of Jackson.

Parents of the bride are John and Vicki Abernathy of Jackson and Tracy Puckett of Winchester, Ky. The groom is the son of Alan and Donna Eakins of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Julie Menz of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Kristen Goble of Lexington, Ky., and Sarah Hedrick of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Kevin Eakins of Jackson served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Blake Dohogne and Wayne Bodenstein of Jackson. Guests were seated by Lance McBride and Chris Elliott of Jackson.

Candlelighter was Lacey Hayes, daughter of Wendy Hayes of Jackson and cousin of the bride.

Jenny Eakins of Jackson, cousin of the groom, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Bent Creek Golf Course. Servers were Kathy Johnson, Chrissie and Leighann Icaza, Kierin McManaman, Sina Kaiser, Dana Eakins, Donna Eakins, and Justin Gibbs.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 19 at their home.

Mrs. Eakins is a graduate of Jackson High School, and attended the University of Kentucky. She is employed at Small Animal Clinic in Nicholasville, Ky.

The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School. He is city building inspector at Nicholasville.

The couple resides in Nicholasville.
