Wendy Lea Kohrman and Bryan Lynn McCoy were married Oct. 21, 2000, at Hanover Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jeffrey Sippy performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Keith Koenig of Jackson, Mo., and soloist was Teresa Compton of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the bride are Joan A. Cantwell of Cape Girardeau and Francis J. Cantwell Sr. of Kingsland, Ga. McCoy is the son of Karen Cook of Marble Hill, Mo., and Robert E. McCoy Jr. of Pocahontas, Mo.
The bride was escorted by her son, Brandon Kohrman of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Rachel Reed of Jackson. Bridesmaid was Kimberlie Kohrman of Cape Girardeau, daughter of the bride.
Corey Cantwell of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsman was Jonathon Cook of Marble Hill, brother of the groom. Usher was Richard Reed II of Cape Girardeau.
Candlelighters were Jennifer Rutherford of Chaffee, Mo., sister of the groom; and Corey Cantwell.
Flower girls were Stacey Kohrman of Cape Girardeau and Sierra Brooks of Jackson. Stacey is the daughter of the bride. Sierra is the daughter of Phillip Brooks and Rachel Reed and goddaughter of the couple. Ringbearer was Taimien Taylor, son of Jennifer Rutherford and nephew of the groom.
Susan Holderfield of Chaffee attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Heartland Banquet Hall in Jackson. Server was Cheryl Reed of Cape Girardeau.
The couple hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 20 at the church.
Mrs. McCoy is a 1986 graduate of Manassas Park High School. She is employed in the physical therapy department at Chateau Girardeau.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Woodland High School. He is employed at Crader Tire and Retread Service Inc. in Jackson.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
