Trinity Tabernacle in Bridgeton, Mo., was the setting July 29, 2000, for the wedding of Heidi Marie Kapfer and Ryan James Sanders. Ron Carnett performed the double ring ceremony. Musician and soloist was Russell Henderson of St. Louis.
Parents of the bride are David and Cathy Kapfer of Cape Girardeau. Sanders is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gilmartin of Brookings, S.D., and Mr. and Mrs. James Sanders of Orlando, Fla.
Ann Tygett of St. Louis was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meaghan Sanders of Winona, Minn., and Shannon and Caitlin Gilmartin of Brookings, sisters of the groom.
Best man was Bren Diamond of Cocoa Beach, Fla., cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Aaron Kapfer, brother of the bride, Tom Anderson, cousin of the bride, and Darrell Miller, all of St. Louis.
Laura Blattner attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Cheshire Inn.
The groom's father and stepmother hosted the rehearsal dinner July 27 at Favazza's Restaurant in St. Louis.
Mrs. Sanders is a 1997 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a sales representative with Metro Lighting in St. Louis.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Southeast University. He is employed at Dierdorf and Hart's Restaurant and at Northwestern Mutual Insurance.
The couple is residing in St. Louis.
