JACKSON, Mo. -- New McKendree United Methodist Church was the setting May 27, 2000, for the wedding of Polly Ann Jones and Kent Arthur Koch. The Rev. O. David Griffin performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Linda Thompson of Jackson, and guitarist and vocalist were Steve and Sarah Wilson of Nashville, Tenn.
The bride is the daughter of Fred and Pam Jones of Jackson. The groom is the son of Arwin Koch of Gordonville, Mo., and the late Betty Koch.
Jolie McCallister of Gordonville was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Holly Koch of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Shirlee Jones of Salt Lake City, Utah, sister-in-law of the bride; Staci Wendel of Jackson; Heather Hoffman of St. Louis; and Amy Lingle of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Best man was Brian McCallister of Gordonville. Groomsmen were Andy Koch of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom; Frederick Jones of Salt Lake City, brother of the bride; Chris Illers of Jackson; Mark Gones of Gordonville; and Tom Morie of Jackson. Ushers were Brad Skelton of Gordonville and Darren McCallister of Jackson.
Flower girls were Brittney Koch; Mallory, Madeline and Mabrey McCallister; and Jasmine Jones. Brittney is the daughter of the groom and Jonna Koch. Mallory, Madeline and Mabrey are daughters of Brian and Jolie McCallister and nieces of the bride. Jasmine is the daughter of Frederick and Shirlee Jones and niece of the bride.
Stephanie Grueloh of Janesville, Wis., cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Route 25 Hall. Servers were Nancy Jones of Janesville, Clarice Jones of Jackson, Helga Jones of Fargo, N.D., and Sharon Hahs of Cape Girardeau, all aunts of the bride.
The rehearsal dinner was held May 26 in the church fellowship hall, hosted by Arwin, Holly and Kent Koch.
Mrs. Koch received a master's degree from the University of Kansas. She is a speech/language pathologist at Jackson R-2 School District.
The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed in utilities at Procter & Gamble.
The couple resides in Gordonville.
