Janine Jepsen and Kenny Mayberry exchanged vows Sept. 16, 2000, at Enchanted Gardens in Jackson, Mo. Chaplain Russell D. Pipkin performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Shane Steck, and soloist was Wendy Taliaferro. Reader was Joe Pangelinan.

Parents of the bride are Larry and Mary Jepsen of Laurie, Mo. The groom is the son of Sylvia Mayberry of Perryville, Mo.

Matron of honor was Donna Kuhl of Vista, Calif., and bridesmaid was Doreen Morgan of O'Fallon, Mo., sisters of the bride.

Mark Berriman of Jamestown, N.D., served the groom as best man. Groomsman was Jack Wimp of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Kevin Mayberry of Frisco, Colo., brother of the groom; Dale Newman of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Richard Pipkin of Jackson, Mo.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Enchanted Gardens.

The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 15 at Enchanted Gardens.

Mrs. Mayberry received a master of arts degree in psychological counseling from Southeast Missouri State University. She is an education and training manager with Bootheel Healthy Start.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast University. He is a detective sergeant with Southeast University's Department of Public Safety.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
