Tamara Childs Halter and Michael Shannon Dannenmueller were married June 3, 2000, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was LeAnn Hendricks of Cape Girardeau. Vocalists were Daniel Moore of Scott City, Mo., uncle of the groom, and Renee Reinagel of Kelso.
Parents of the bride are Thomas J. Halter and Molly Evans of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Jack and Juanita Dannenmueller of Scott City.
Matron of honor was Mary Carlin Welker, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Debra Moore, cousin of the groom; Kristy Prince, sister of the bride; Misty Dannenmueller, sister of the groom; Christy Spence, Jennifer Clark, Tracy Blattel and Amber McCormick.
Thomas J. Halter II, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Curtis and Nick Dannenmueller, brothers of the groom; Taylor Lumsden; Eric Schwartz; Eric Heuring; Bobby Gardner; and Doug Moore, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Kevin Halter, uncle of the bride, and Jack Dannenmueller, brother of the groom.
Flower girl was Sierra Welker, daughter of Jason and Carlin Welker and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Thomas Halter III, son of Thomas and Debra Halter and nephew of the bride.
Candlelighters were Amanda Dirnberger, cousin of the bride, and Mark Dannenmueller, brother of the groom. Amanda is the daughter of Mark and Sharon Dirnberger and cousin of the bride.
Mary Schlosser, aunt of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Kelso.
Friends and family hosted the rehearsal dinner June 2 at the home of the groom's parents.
Mrs. Dannenmueller is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and is pursuing a degree in early childhood education. She is employed at St. Mary's Daycare.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He is employed at Cape Paint and Glass.
The couple resides in Scott City.
