JACKSON -- Heidi Marie Griswold and Toby Alan Crowden were married Oct. 23, 1999, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Revs. Jake Duffner and Dave Griffin. Organist was Geri Beussink of Jackson, and flutist was Shana Griswold of Green Bay, Wis., cousin of the bride. Vocalists were Karen Benefield of Jackson, Mike and Mark Kohlfeld of Cape Girardeau.

Rick and Connie Griswold of Jackson are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of James and Bonnie Stevens of Jackson.

Heather Slinkard of Cape Girardeau was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Andrea King of Kansas City, Shauna Criddle of Jackson, Sherry Cook of Whitewater, Tosha Borgfield of Cape Girardeau, Gina Parenteau of Jackson, and Joni Oberhauser of Cape Girardeau.

The groom chose his brother, Travis Stevens, as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Marchi of Jackson, Marvin Adams and Chad Clippard of St. Louis, Brad Borgfield of Cape Girardeau, Rory Thoma of St. Louis, and Scott Crabtree of Scott City. Ushers were Jeff Slinkard of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the bride; Tim and Todd Crowden of Chaffee, brothers of the groom.

Flower girls were Clare and Kelsey Seyer of Jackson. Ringbearer was Tyler Slinkard of Cape Girardeau, nephew of the bride.

Candlelighters were John Tiffany of Cape Girardeau, uncle and godfather of the bride, and Carolyn Rich of Genoa, Ill., godmother of the bride.

Jaime Williams and Christie Crain of Jackson attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Marilyn Landewee of Jackson, Barb Crowden of Chaffee, Angie Horton and Melissa Crowden of Cape Girardeau.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 22 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, with 65 guests attending.

Mrs. Crowden is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. She is a pediatrics nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High school. He received a degree in business accounting from Southeast University in 1997. He is employed at Bent Creek Golf Course.

After a wedding trip to Maui and Oahu, Hawaii, the couple resides in Jackson.
