JACKSON -- Angela Kaye Godwin and Edward Eugene Harris were married Nov. 20, 1999, at Jackson Church of Christ. Steve Simmons performed the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kelly Garland of Jackson. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Eugene Harris Sr. of DeSoto.
Matron of honor was Angela Lynn of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Susan Tilley of Jackson and Nina Fletcher of Scott City.
Robert McKee of DeSoto served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Ben Hartzog of Sikeston and Michael Hagerty of Glen Carbon, Ill. Ushers were Dan Engel of St. Charles and Wes Settle of Marquand.
Ringbearer was Austin Brandon of Festus, nephew of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Drury Lodge. Servers were Cindy Fraser of Cape Girardeau and Barbara Lewis of Jackson.
Lauren Kenaum attended the guest book.
The bride's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Nov. 19 at the church.
Mrs. Harris is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School, and is pursuing a degree in accounting at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Alliance Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of Hillsboro High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast University in 1999.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
