WEDDING: FORNKAHL-HANKS

Gretchen Faye Fornkahl and James Robert Hanks Jr., were married Dec. 17, 1999, at The Gardener's Chapel in Eureka Springs, Ark. Jann Ortiz performed the ceremony.

Gary and Karen Fornkahl of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom's parents are Jim and Debbie Hanks of Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Hanks is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School and received a bachelor of science degree in mathmatics from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997. She is employed as a senior design technician for the Missouri Department of Transportation and volunteers as a firefighter with East County Fire Protection District.

Hanks is a 1991 graduate of Cape Central High School. He is employed in the maintenance department at Nell Holcomb School and volunteers as a firefighter for the East County Fire Protection District.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
