SHAWNEETOWN, Mo. -- Shauna Marie Boley and Weldon Lee Saupe were married June 16, 2001, at St. John's Church in Pocahontas, Mo. The Rev. John Kiehl performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Bernice Lorenz of Shawneetown, and soloists were Donna Seabaugh of Friedheim, Mo., and Dana Craft of Sedgewickville, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Duane Bruhl of Pocahontas and Ticha Boley of Tamms, Ill. Glenn and Doris Saupe of Shawneetown are parents of the groom.
Maid of honor was Michelle Birk of Jackson, Mo., and bridesmaid was Kathy Kutscher of Fruitland, Mo.
Kirt Ruehling of Washington, Mo., served the groom as best man. Groomsman was Wayne Saupe, brother of the groom. Ushers and candlelighters were Gary Bruhl of Pocahontas, uncle of the bride, and Kevin Saupe of Shawneetown, brother of the groom.
Miniature bride and groom were Brittney Abercrombie and Dalton Thieret.
Flower girl was Kayleen Craft of Sedgewickville, cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Dustin Fornkohl of Tamms, brother of the bride.
Judy Bruhl attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Jim and Geneva Brandes.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 15 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Mrs. Saupe is a graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Shawneetown Feed and Seed.
The groom is a graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He is employed at Shawneetown Feed and Seed.
The couple resides at Shawneetown.
