ORAN, Mo. -- Guardian Angel Catholic Church was the setting May 12, 2001, for the wedding of Stacey Suzanne Bertrand and Darren Michael McIntosh. The Rev. Lewis Hejna performed the double ring ceremony. Servers were Trent Ray of Benton, Mo., and Clayton Scherer of Oran.
Pianist was Bernice Kern of New Hamburg, Mo. Vocalists were Chris Scherer and Marlene Scherer of Oran.
Parents of the bride are John and Paula Bertrand of Oran. The groom is the son of Michael McIntosh of Cape Girardeau and Deborah Thomas of Chaffee, Mo.
Brittany Lambert of Benton was maid of honor. Matron of honor was Stephanie Hahn of Oran, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Rushaye Johnson of Malden, Mo., cousin of the bride.
Best men were Rocky Shields of Chaffee, and Nathan McIntosh of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Shannon McIntosh of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom. Ushers were Devin Kinder of Chaffee, cousin of the groom, and Jason Hahn of Oran, brother-in-law of the bride.
Flower girl was Brenna Hahn, daughter of Jason and Stephanie Hahn and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Isaiah Bertrand, son of the bride.
Ami Crouse of Cape Girardeau attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Oran.
Deborah Thomas and Jason and Stephanie Hahn hosted the rehearsal dinner May 11 at the Hahn home.
Mrs. McIntosh is attending Southeast Missouri State University. She is an assistant manager at McDonald's in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is attending Southeast University. He is employed at Newell Rubbermaid in Jackson.
The couple is residing in Oran.
