WEDDING:

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen, Texas, was the setting April 1, 2000, for the wedding of Kristi Lynn Sommer and Michael Thomas Mahoney. The Rev. Raphael J. Clancy performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Judy Picot of Killeen.

Parents of the couple are Lawrence and Carol Sommer of Cape Girardeau, and Martin and Barbara Mahoney of Killeen.

Maid of honor was Lorri Sommer of Fairborn, Ohio, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Susan Toutant of Copperas Cove, Texas, cousin of the bride, and Crystal Yeager of Fairborn.

Michael Tratt of Copperas Cove served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were James Gower of Killeen and Robert Mahoney of San Diego, Calif., brother of the groom. Ushers were Glenn Carr of Copperas Cove and Jason Meyers of Harker Heights, Texas.

Flower girls were Amanda Collins and Alaina Stilley, cousin of the bride. Amanda is the daughter of Billy and Doris Collins. Alaina is the daughter of Alan and Tammy Stilley. Ringbearer was Alan Stilley Jr., son of Alan and Tammy Stilley and cousin of the bride.

Shauna Gower of Killeen attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Killeen. Servers were Linda Busti, Doris Collins and Sandra Fico-Saribay of Killeen.

The rehearsal dinner was held March 31 at Giovanni's Italian Restaurant.

Mrs. Mahoney is a graduate of Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at First Community Bancshares Inc. in Killeen.

The groom is a graduate of Ellison High School in Killeen. He is employed at Cubic Applications Inc. in Killeen.

After a wedding trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple is residing in Killeen.
