Laura Danette Plumb Walz and Ronald Richard Stroder were married Oct. 12, 2013, at River City Yacht Club at Port Cape. John P. Heisserer performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Dottie Plumb of Cape Girardeau, and the late Burnett O. "Bunny" Plumb Jr. The groom is the son of Ronald and Sharon Stroder of Jackson.
Jace Walz was his mother's man of honor.
Best man was Weston Stroder, son of the groom.

The reception was held at River City Yacht Club.
The bride's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 11 at her home.
Mrs. Stroder is a legal assistant to John P. Heisserer at Rice, Spaeth, Summers and Heisserer, LC.
The groom is a conductor with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
The couple is residing in Jackson.
