Kim Walker and John Dale McCall Sr. were united in marriage June 7, 2008, at Bethel Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Dan McCall of St. Louis, brother of the groom, performed the ceremony. Pre-recorded music was played.
The bride is the daughter of the late Floyd and Jean Thomas. The groom is the son of the late Edward and Juanita McCall.
Maid of honor was Charlotte Thomas of Kirkwood, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amber Zeilenga of Millersville, Elizabeth Zeilenga of Jackson, daughters of the bride; and Thiessa Ash of St. Louis.
Doyle Parmer of Dutchtown was best man. Groomsmen were Brian McClanahan, nephew of the groom; Robert Pontious, son of the bride; Justin Jones, son of the groom; all of Jackson; and Brian Zeilenga of Millersville, son-in-law of the bride. Junior groomsman was Treyton Zeilenga, son of Curt and Elizabeth Zeilenga and grandson of the bride. Ushers were Brian McClanahan and Brian Zeilenga.
Candlelighters were Justin Jones and Robert Pontious.
Flower girls were Ashley and Kelsey Pontious, daughters of Robert and Connie Pontious and granddaughters of the bride. Ringbearers were Macy Zeilenga, daughter of Brian and Amber Zeilenga and granddaughter of the bride; and Treyton Zeilenga.
Guest book attendants were Madison and Hannah Zeilenga, granddaughters of the bride. Madison is the daughter of Brian and Amber Zeilenga. Hannah is the daughter of Curt and Elizabeth Zeilenga.
The reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner June 6 at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Mrs. McCall is a graduate of Lindbergh High School in St. Louis.
The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School. He is a captain and river barge pilot with Ingram Barge Industries.
After a Caribbean cruise, the couple is residing in Jackson.
