Jaime Lynne Vines and Bradley Tyson Drum were married April 5, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills. The Rev. Kevin Olson performed the ceremony. Music was by Michael Williford of Union, Mo.

A memorial candle was lit in honor of Elmer Drum by the groom and Brandy McCarty, a son and daughter, and by Angie Drum, a daughter-in-law.

The bride is the daughter of Greg and Girada Vines of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Kimberly Best of Cape Girardeau, Tom Best of Jackson, and the late Elmer Drum.

Matron of honor was Erica Hindman of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica Moyers of Jackson, cousin of the bride; Jackie Myers of Imperial, Mo., aunt of the groom; and Trina Hindman of Festus, Mo.

Justin Vines of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Compas of Cape Girardeau; Doug Myers of Imperial, uncle of the groom; and Abraham Simpson of St. Charles, Mo. Ushers were Elijah Vines and Austin Johnson. Elijah is the son of Rick and Stephanie Vines of Cape Girardeau and cousin of the bride. Austin is the son of Donnie and Brandy McCarty and nephew of the groom.

Candlelighters were Victoria Vines and McKayla Drum. Victoria is the daughter of Rick and Stephanie Vines and cousin of he bride. McKayla is the daughter of Brian and Angie Drum of Millersville and niece of the groom.

Flower girl was Madeline McCarty, daughter of Donnie and Brandy McCarty and niece of the groom. Ringbearers were Josh and Seth James, son of Danny and Jenny James of Jackson and cousins of the groom.

Guest book attendants were Skylar and McKenzie Drum, daughters of Brian and Angie Drum and nieces of the groom.

The bride's parents hosted the reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Brandy McCarty and Angie Drum.

The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner April 4 at the church.

Mrs. Drum is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in human environmental studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She is a teacher at Just Kids in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. He received an associate degree in heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology from Ranken Technical College in 2005. He is a service technician/installer with Langford Mechanical and Sheet Metal in Jackson.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
