Jami Vaughan and Brian Obermann were united in marriage Sept. 20, 2008, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, Mo. The Rev. Ralph Duffner performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sheri Vaughan of Leopold, Mo., and Mike and Diann Vaughan of Sikeston, Mo. The groom is the son of Thomas and Marti Obermann of Chaffee.
Matron of honor was Diana Wills of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Amy Beussink and Heather Ford of Cape Girardeau, Leandra Vaughan of Leopold, and Angela Vaughan of Cape Girardeau.
Eric Eftink of Chaffee was best man. Groomsmen were Dave Beussink, Josh Eftink and Chris Kirn of Cape Girardeau, and Scot Enderle of Waukegan, Ill. Ushers were Bryan Glosemeyer of Cape Girardeau, Craig Eftink of Chaffee, Michael Gosche of St. Louis, and Derrick Welter of Kelso, Mo.
Flower girls were Isabella Guzman and Makayla Rodgers of Sikeston. Isabella is the daughter of Francisco and Jessica Guzman. Makayla is the daughter of Joey Looney and Jennifer Rodgers.
The dinner and dance reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City.
Mrs. Obermann is a 2000 graduate of Sikeston High School. She is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in social work at Southeast Missouri State University. She is an administrative assistant in the Office of Extended and Continuing Education at the university.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from Southeast in 2005. He is a driver with United Parcel Service.
The couple is residing in Scott City.
