VanGennip -- McLain

Francee Ann VanGennip and Robert (Bob) Lee McLain were married Sept. 17, 2016, at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Missouri. The Rev. David Coon performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Marion and Donna VanGennip of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Susan McLain and the late Steven McLain of Linneus, Missouri.

Maids of honor were Rheanna Greer of Fruitland, friend of the bride, and Marissa VanGennip of Marble Hill, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Courtney Miller of Centralia, Missouri, sister of the groom; Rachael Wamser of St. Louis, friend of the bride; Michelle Anceno of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride; and Dana Thiele of Leopold, friend of the bride.

Flower girls were Terra Grovenor, cousin of the bride, daughter of Trey and Tabi Grovenor of Jackson; Macy McLain, niece of the groom, daughter of Doug and Amanda McLain of Linneus; and Autumn VanGennip, niece of the bride, daughter of John VanGennip of Marble Hill.

Ringbearers were Malaki McLain, nephew of the groom, son of Doug and Amanda McLain of Linneus; and Cooper Miller, nephew of the groom, son of Correy and Courtney Miller of Centralia.

Candlelighters were Sara Hines-McLain of Atlanta and Amanda McLain of Linneus, both sisters-in-law of the groom.

Best man was Eric Seiler of Leopold, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Dustin Thiele of Glennon, Missouri, friend of the groom; Correy Miller of Centralia, brother-in-law of the groom; Chance Shetley of Fredericktown, Missouri, friend of the groom; Kenton Mayfield of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, friend of the groom; and Mark VanGennip of Marble Hill, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Bill Hines-McLain of Atlanta, brother of the groom; Doug McLain of Linneus, brother of the groom; and John VanGennip of Marble Hill, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Leopold.

Francee received a bachelor's degree from Webster University. She is a graphic designer at Crader Distributing Co. in Marble Hill.

Bob received an associate degree from Linn Technical College. He is a heavy equipment technician at Fabick Caterpillar in Scott City.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple lives in Whitewater.
