Acolytes were Evan Landewee and Chandler Jansen of Leopold, cousins of the bride. Eucharistic ministers were Chelsea Broshuis of Marble Hill, Missouri, cousin of the groom; Gavin Vandeven of Marble Hill; Angie Landewee and Courtney Beussink of Leopold, cousins of the bride.

Lector was Amy Jansen of Leopold, cousin of the bride. Gift bearers were Lisa Landewee of Thompson Station, Tennessee, and Gerard Vandeven of Marble Hill, godparents of the bride. Roses were presented by Ava Bollinger of Kennett, Missouri, Ella McGowen of Cape Girardeau, and Rylie Schreiner of Marble Hill, all cousins of the bride.

Programs were handed out by Leah Vandeven and Jersie Lynn of Chaffee, Missouri, cousins of the bride. Flower attendants were Glenda Landewee of Leopold and Pam Wesbecher of Marble Hill, aunts of the bride.

Organists were Alissa and Jenny Vandeven of Leopold. Soloist was Jill Bollinger of Kennett and saxophonist was Eric McGowen of Cape Girardeau, cousins of the bride. Mary Jansen of Leopold directed a choir comprised of Bob, Jean, and Tyler Clubb and Whittney Lukefahr of Leopold, and Shirley, Katelyn, and Matt Brotherton, and Lexi and Whitney Vandeven of Marble Hill, cousins of the bride.

Parents of the bride are Gary and Kim Vandeven of Leopold. The groom is the son of D.J. and Laurie Long of Marble Hill.

Matron of honor was Wendy McCall of Jackson, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Josie Long of Marble Hill, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Emily Vandeven of Marble Hill and Abby Landewee of Leopold, cousins of the bride, and Alysa Haynes of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Amber Douglas of Marble Hill and Jill Irvin of Leopold.

Flower girl was Mia McCall of Jackson, niece of the bride.

Serving his brother as best man was Jake Long of Marble Hill. Groomsmen were Tony Hughes of Marble Hill, cousin of the groom; Dylan Rhodes of Glenallen, Missouri; Andrew Minson of Burfordville, and John Bohnsack of Leopold. Ushers were Dillan Vandeven of Marble Hill and Cole Wesbecher of Festus, Missouri, cousins of the bride.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Attending the guest book was Renee Laster of Jonesboro, Illinois, and Amanda Gaudy of Benton, Kentucky, cousins of the bride. Servers were Betty Vandeven of Chaffee, Nancy Landewee of Leopold, Lori Vandeven and Rhonda Vandeven of Marble Hill, all aunts of the bride; Larry Vandeven of Marble Hill, uncle of the bride; Jessica Vandeven, Adam Landewee, and Shirley Brotherton of Marble Hill, Rene Landewee and Sandy Beussink of Leopold, all cousins of the bride; and Marethe VanGennip of Leopold.

Shelby is a 2010 graduate of Leopold High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2013. She is a fourth grade teacher with Woodland School District in Marble Hill.

Jesse is a 2010 graduate of Woodland High School. He is employed by Nuway in Jackson.

The couple resides in Marble Hill.
