Christy Lee Thoma and Kyle David Eggers exchanged vows Oct. 8, 2005, at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville, Mo. The Rev. Kevin Fausz performed the ceremony. Readers were Calvin Eggers, uncle of the groom, and Carol Thomas, aunt of the bride. The offertory was taken by Sheila Bodenschatz and Fred Eggers, godparents of the groom. Mass servers were Clint Brown and Brandon Trapp.
Pianist was Angela Klueppel of Benton, Mo. Vocalists were Vickie Long of Cape Girardeau and Chris Scherer of Oran, Mo.
Parents of the couple are Orville and Gwen Thoma of Jackson, and Carl and Brenda Eggers of Perryville.
Matron of honor was Julie Durbin of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tara Parenteau of Jackson, Cheryl Rich of Cape Girardeau, Nicole Meyer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Shannon Stover and Sarah Hanneken of Jackson.
Michael Eggers of Perryville was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Justin Eggers of Perryville, brother of the groom; Jared Durbin of Jackson, brother-in-law of the bride; Trent Sauer of St. Louis, Chris Koeper and Dusty Cattoor of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Ryan and Patrick Schaaf of Ironton, Mo., cousins of the groom.
Candlelighters were Emily Guth of Tucson, Ariz., and Meghan Schaaf of Ironton, cousins of the groom.
Flower girl was Gracyn Ward of Ironton, cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Jaredan Durbin, nephew of the bride.
Nicole and Briana Lama, cousins of the groom, attended the guest book. Phillip and Alex Bodenschatz, cousins of the groom, handed out programs.
The dinner and dance reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Perryville. Servers were Wanda Guth, Judy Wheeler and Sheila Bodenschatz, aunts of the groom.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 7 at Perryville Country Club.
Mrs. Eggers is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Perryville High school, and received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast in 2004. He is co-manager at Sam's Club in Nashville.
After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple is residing in Nashville.
